Terms of sale
The terms of the Koochers Spotter and Koochers Coach subscriptions, bought in the iOS app or on app.koochers.com. Spotter is the Koochers AI assistant (called Coach IA until version 1.0.1 of the app). Last updated: 13 October 2026.
1. Who sells what
Koochers is published by MEIZ, EURL with a share capital of €100, 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, France. SIREN 854 034 683, RCS Paris. VAT FR90854034683. Contact: contact@koochers.com. MEIZ provides the Koochers service.
In the iOS app, subscriptions are sold by Apple on the App Store, as auto-renewable subscriptions. For France, the seller is Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.
On the web app app.koochers.com, MEIZ sells the subscriptions itself. Payment goes through Stripe, our payment provider (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland).
These terms apply to both channels. When a rule only applies to one of them, the article says so. For an App Store purchase, Apple's terms also govern payment, renewal, refunds and cancellation.
2. Free and subscriptions
The Free plan is free with no time limit. Spotter and Coach are paid subscriptions. You buy them in the iOS app or on app.koochers.com. Nothing is charged unless you buy.
Coach mode, used to support clients, comes with the Coach plan. There is no separate setting (see article 3).
3. Plans and prices
- Free, €0: unlimited history, friends and programs, training together, finish together advice.
- Koochers Spotter: €9.99 a month, €24.99 for 3 months or €79.99 a year in France. Everything in Free, plus Spotter under fair use (see below).
- Koochers Coach: €19.99 a month or €199.99 a year in France. Coach mode comes with this plan. Unlimited athletes, programs written for your clients and program templates, sessions planned in a client's week, live session follow-up, a dashboard and private notes per athlete. Spotter under fair use, for you and for your clients. You can ask it for help about a client who accepted the coaching text, never about a friend.
The Koochers Pro plan is no longer sold. If you subscribe to it, you keep it on the same terms until you cancel.
Apple sets the price in each country, local taxes included. The exact price is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
On app.koochers.com, prices are in euros, all taxes included, with 20% French VAT included. They are the prices above, whatever your country. The plan, the period and the total price are shown before you pay.
On the web, you can enter a promo code on the payment page when we offer one.
Spotter is included under fair use. In practice, you can send it up to 100 messages a day. The first 40 get an answer from our most capable model. The next ones from a lighter model. The count resets at midnight in your phone's time zone. A message that got no answer is not counted. Clearing the history doesn't give messages back.
4. Buying and payment
Subscription bought on the App Store:
You subscribe from the app, with your Apple Account. Apple takes the payment with the payment method of your Apple Account. Apple sends you the receipt.
The Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions apply to the payment. We never see your card details. Apple only sends us the state of your subscription: product, dates, renewal.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
You choose the plan and the period on the plans page, in Settings. You tick the immediate start box (see article 9). You then pay on Stripe's secure payment page, with one of the payment methods it offers. The order is made once the payment is accepted. Your plan turns on within seconds, on the web and in the iPhone app with the same account.
The link to these terms is on the plans page. By paying, you accept them. We never see your card details: Stripe handles them. Stripe only sends us the state of your subscription: plan, period, dates, status.
After each payment, Stripe emails you a receipt. Your invoices are also in Settings, then Manage my subscription. If you buy for a business, you can enter your VAT number at checkout. It shows on the invoice.
5. Term and renewal
You choose the period when you buy: one month, three months or one year for Spotter, one month or one year for Coach. You pay the whole period at its start. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length, at the current price, until you cancel it.
Subscription bought on the App Store:
Apple renews the subscription. It stops if you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
Stripe charges the saved payment method at each renewal. The subscription stops if you cancel before the end of the current period.
6. Changing plans
Subscription bought on the App Store:
You change plan or period in your iPhone settings, in the same place as cancelling. You can switch from Spotter to Coach and back. You can also change the length. Apple applies the change under its rules and tells you when it takes effect. Moving up to Coach takes effect right away and Apple refunds the rest of the current period pro rata. Going back to Spotter or changing the length takes effect at the next renewal.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
You change plan or period in Settings, then Manage my subscription, on Stripe's secure portal. You can switch from Spotter to Coach and back. You can also change the length. The change applies right away. Stripe works out the price difference for the rest of the current period pro rata. The portal shows you the amount before you confirm.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel whenever you want. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. You keep access until then. Your account then goes back to Free.
Subscription bought on the App Store:
You can cancel at any time on your iPhone: Settings, then your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Choose Koochers, then Cancel Subscription.
Deleting the app or your Koochers account does not stop Apple billing. Cancel the subscription in the iPhone settings.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
You cancel on app.koochers.com: Settings, then Manage my subscription. Stripe's secure portal opens. Choose to cancel the subscription. The current period is not refunded, neither in full nor pro rata.
Deleting your Koochers account stops a web subscription right away. Nothing more is charged. The current period is not refunded.
8. Refunds
Subscription bought on the App Store:
Apple takes the payment. Refunds are therefore requested from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides under its own rules. We cannot refund an App Store purchase ourselves.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
A period that has started is not refunded, unless the law requires it, for example when the service doesn't work as described (see article 13). For a billing error, write to contact@koochers.com. We refund anything charged by mistake to your payment method.
9. Right of withdrawal
Subscription bought on the App Store:
Apple is the seller of the subscriptions. The right of withdrawal is exercised with Apple, under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple describes the conditions and the steps there, from the purchase history of your Apple Account or at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
You are buying digital content supplied right away. The law gives you in principle 14 days to withdraw (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). This right no longer applies when performance starts before the end of that period with your prior express consent, after you expressly waive this right (article L221-28, 13°).
Before payment, the plans page asks you to tick a box, unticked by default: "I ask for immediate access to my subscription and I waive my 14-day right of withdrawal." Without it, payment doesn't open. By ticking it, you ask for your subscription to start as soon as the payment is accepted. You thereby waive your right of withdrawal for this purchase.
We record your consent before payment opens, with the version of the accepted text, its date and your language.
10. Failed payment
Subscription bought on the App Store:
If a payment fails, Apple retries it and asks you to update your payment method. If the payment doesn't go through, the subscription stops and your account goes back to Free. We charge no penalty.
Subscription bought on app.koochers.com:
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. Your subscription goes to payment pending. You keep access in the meantime. Update your card in Settings, then Manage my subscription. If the payment doesn't go through, the subscription stops and your account goes back to Free. We charge no penalty.
11. Price changes
A price change is announced to you by email at least 30 days before it applies. It takes effect for the next period, never for a period already paid. For an App Store subscription, Apple tells you too. For a price increase, Apple may ask for your consent. You can cancel before if it doesn't suit you.
12. One subscription at a time
An account has one subscription at a time, from one source: the App Store, the web or a plan given by the Koochers team. Your plan works everywhere with the same account, in the iPhone app and on the web.
If you have an active web subscription, the iOS app sells you nothing and offers no purchase restore. It shows that your subscription is managed on the web. If your active subscription comes from the App Store, app.koochers.com sells you nothing either: you manage it on your iPhone. To switch channels, cancel the current subscription and wait for the end of the paid period.
13. Service and liability
MEIZ remains responsible for the Koochers service, its content and how it works. For an App Store purchase, Apple is only responsible for the payment. On the web, Stripe processes the payment on our behalf. The service is described in the terms of use, which also apply to subscribers. We are liable for the proper performance of the service as provided by law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code).
14. Complaints and mediation
For any complaint about the service, write to contact@koochers.com first. We answer within 15 days. For a payment or refund on the App Store, contact Apple. For a web purchase, write to us at the same address.
Under the provisions of the French Consumer Code on consumer dispute mediation, after contacting us and if our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can use a consumer mediation procedure free of charge with: CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France. Phone: +33 1 89 47 00 14. Website: https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php. Email: litiges@cm2c.net.
You must first have sent us a written complaint at contact@koochers.com.
The European online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025. The mediation above remains available.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, the courts of Paris have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to go to the court where you live.
